Through the Lensbaby: April – Hawaiian Rainforest
One of the biggest blessings in my life is being born and raised in Hawaii. The world has always felt magical to me because of it. As a child, the rainforest was my playground. My close friend and neighbor lived on the edge of a great cliff, with a jungle for a backyard. We would craft houses out of the giant ferns that were as big as we were.
This month, my children are experiencing the magic of Hawaii as I once did. We’ve been all over the islands – building sandcastles from Waikiki to Waikaloa, walking across lava rock as ancient as the Hawaiians, and hiking through the rainforest to pristine waterfalls. I brought my Lensbaby Edge 80 along on one of our hikes. And as you can see, the rainforest lived up to its name. We all got a little drenched, but it was well worth it.
